We are looking for an Industrial Painter!
Responsibilities
Painting heavy equipment for the mining and transport industry where the standards are high and the finish needs to be fantastic
Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces, addressing any defects or issues to meet stringent quality standards.
Prepare secure work areas using ladders, movable and immovable staging to ensure suitable access to products during coating.
Handle painted items without damage to surfaces.
Prepare work areas for surface treatment activities with consideration given to safe work requirements and adjacent work areas/plant/equipment to prevent overspray and paint splatter.
Carry out quality testing to ensure compliance with relevant procedures and standards and produce required records.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Industrial Painter, preferably in the mining and transportation industry.
Familiarity with various painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
Knowledge of industrial coatings and methods
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Understanding of safety procedures and protocols in an industrial setting.
