St Patrick's Community Support Centre (St Pat's) is a leading homelessness support service and community housing provider in Perth's South Metropolitan region.
For more than 50 years, we have worked alongside people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage to provide housing, health, support and community services.
We are looking for a creative and motivated Corporate Communications Officer to join our Corporate Services team on a
6 month fixed-term contract, working two days per week
.

About the role
Reporting to the Communications Coordinator, you will support the delivery of St Pat's internal and external communications, digital content, campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
You will be responsible for developing engaging content across a range of platforms and helping to communicate the impact of St Pat's work to our staff, stakeholders and broader community.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and editing content for social media, websites, newsletters, intranet and other communication channels.
Creating written, photographic, video and digital content that reflects St Pat's brand, values and purpose.
Maintaining and updating website and digital content.
Developing and scheduling social media content.
Supporting internal communications, staff updates and organisational announcements.
Identifying stories,
achievements and opportunities to showcase the work of St Pat's.
Supporting communications campaigns, awareness initiatives and community engagement activities.
Coordinating assigned communications projects from planning through to delivery.
Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather information, content and approvals.
Supporting the ongoing development of the staff intranet.
Maintaining communications calendars, digital resources and content libraries.
Monitoring social media and communications enquiries and escalating matters where appropriate.
Supporting basic communications reporting and engagement data.
About you
You will be a confident communicator with robust writing skills and a creative approach to developing content.
You will bring:
A relevant qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience developing clear, engaging and accurate content for different audiences.
Experience across digital communications and social media platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to adapt your tone and communication style for different audiences and platforms.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Strong digital literacy and Microsoft Office skills.
The ability to work independently, use initiative and collaborate effectively with others.
Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
An understanding of confidentiality, privacy and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
Experience with:
Website content management systems.
Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design platforms.
Photography and video production/editing.
Social media scheduling and analytics tools.
