NDIS Support Worker Wanted – Nairne Area (SA)
We're looking for a friendly, reliable and easy-going
Support Worker
to provide social and community support for a male NDIS participant in his late 30s, based around
Nairne, SA
.
He is a high-functioning, independent adult who works full-time and enjoys getting out of the house, staying active and having a good time.
The role is mainly focused on
social and community participation
, which may include:
Going to the gym together
Attending concerts and live events
Going to stand-up comedy shows
Heading out for meals, activities and day trips
Providing companionship and encouraging social participation
We're looking for someone who is
social, confident, reliable and genuinely enjoys getting out and doing things
.
Someone around a similar age or with similar interests would be a excellent fit.
Requirements:
Must live within approximately




30 minutes of Nairne
Valid
ABN
Full Australian Driver's Licence
Reliable vehicle
Current
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Dependable and good communication skills
This would suit someone looking for enjoyable, flexible support work with a very easy-going participant.
The schedule will typically look like 2 sessions per week, 3-4 hours, meeting the client at the gym or at a social outing and then engaging with the participant and going home.
Minimum pay rate is 3 hours, so if a shift is cut short we do still pay a 3 hour minimum.
