About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and organised
Ground School Manager
to join our team at our Jandakot facility on a
full-time basis
.
This is a pivotal administrative role that will manage and coordinate our ground school programs.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all ground school activities, managing training schedules and coordinating ground instructors and students.
This position is crucial to maintaining the quality and effectiveness of our aviation training programs and directly supports our mission to develop skilled and knowledgeable aviation professionals.
Key responsibilities
Manage and coordinate ground training programs for students, ensuring quality, consistency and optimal use of facilities and resources
Liaise between instructors, students and other departments to ensure effective communication and program delivery
Develop, update and maintain training materials and courses in line with aviation regulations and standards
Supervise and support ground instructors, ensuring effective teaching and adherence to curriculum
Monitor and assess students' progress throughout their ground training, providing feedback and support
Organise and manage training schedules, ensuring timely delivery of courses
Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to improve training quality
Provide administrative support to senior staff and ground school instructors as required
Act as a link between students, instructors, regulatory bodies and college administration




What we're looking for
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, ideally within an aviation, education or training setting
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and experience with scheduling and database management software
Previous experience in an Registered Training Organisation or education environment, highly desirable
A willingness to learn about aviation training and operations
Flexibility and adaptability to changing operational needs and schedules
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism
Flight Instructor experience advantageous
