This is an Aboriginal Identified Position - authorised under the S14d of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act ****.
About the role
This is a part-time opportunity, fixed term until 30 June **** with the possibility of extension.
This position is located in Young and includes outreach services to Tumut and Temora.
Supports CLS program participants, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to build strengths, set goals and live well in their community.
Providing practical support that is culturally responsive and recovery focused, the Aboriginal Wellbeing worker helps builds independence, confidence and connection, while working collaboratively with families, services and community.

Skills & Experience
Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and be an active member within the Aboriginal communities across the relevant CLS program location.
Qualifications in mental health, health or community/social services discipline (minimum Certificate IV).




Demonstrated commitment to working from a recovery orientation, in line with the National Framework for Recovery Oriented Mental Health Services.
