Organisation Description
Karla Kuliny Aboriginal Corporation, situated on Noongar country, is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation dedicated to promoting positive change in the support and service delivery for Aboriginal children, young people, families, and communities.
Founded by Glenda Kickett, a seasoned Indigenous Social Worker with over 30 years of experience, Karla Kuliny brings a culturally strong, child-focused, and trauma-informed approach to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families, particularly in the areas of child protection, out-of-home care, and youth justice.
Karla Kuliny emphasises the importance of culture in well-being and is acutely aware of the systemic gaps in current responses to intergenerational trauma.
