Advanced Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A) For over 70 years, Scope Aust has supported people with complex disabilities to empower them to live the life they choose, guided by the belief that everyone deserves to belong and thrive.
As one of Australia's largest not-for-profit disability service providers, we operate across Victoria and Current South Wales, supporting over 5,600 people from 425+ locations.
We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated individual with an Advanced Diploma who has a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.
This is a permanent full time position based in Warrnambool working a 73 hour and 79 hour split fortnight.
About the role: Position Description: Advanced DSW 2 and 2A Position Description Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access Use calm communication and effective de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift What you'll need: You will be required to possess an Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent to meet the criteria for this role (Qualifications equivalence) Availability to work all below listed shifts.
NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check.
Current Level 2 First Aid CPR Certificate.
Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).
