Location: ***** Orchid Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD ****, Australia Salary: $78,000 - $83,000 AUD Key Responsibilities Chefs Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of dishes in line with the venue's menu.
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Support menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal and fresh local ingredients.




Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
Assist in monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising wastage.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth operations during service.
Cooks Prepare and cook food items in accordance with established recipes and instructions.
Assist in basic food preparation, including cutting, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
Ensure dishes are produced consistently and presented in line with expected standards.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations throughout operations.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Skills Experience Required Minimum 1–3 years' experience in a commercial kitchen.
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
Ability to prepare a variety of dishes with precision and attention to detail.
Robust organisational skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
