Our client is seeking GP/EDs with remote ED under their belts for their general practice and hospital on Kangaroo Island, one of Australia's most iconic destinations off the coast of South Australia.
The Practice This opportunity is perfect for an experienced locum GP with ED Rural Generalist specialisation and ALS2 qualifications wanting a community ready to get to know them.
You would provide patient-centred care across a range of work locations including the General Practice, Emergency Department, inpatient and residential aged facilities.
8.30am to 5.30pm clinic hours (patient contact 9am-1pm and 2pm-5pm) Provide supervision for clinic's GP registrars Standard appointment length 15 minutes Best Practice (Premier) software The Hospital 3 ED beds, 12 hospital beds 8am to 8pm GP ED shifts ********* on call ED shifts,



with SAVES active for lower acuity presentations from ********* Not required to cover clinic during on call days Morning rounds with 4 experienced nursing staff Provide supervision for clinic's GP registrars OBS on call for obstetrics patients 20 weeks or more ANS on call The Location DPA/MMM7 $2,200 per day on call at ED Island population of **** surrounded by 500 kms of stunning coastline, beautiful national parks, excellent paddock-to-plate food and a short ferry ride from the mainland Modern flat provided only a few hundred metres from clinic and hospital - option of 1 or 2 bedroom (perfect to bring the family!) with full kitchen, bathroom and laundry Travel and car provided Rural Generalists looking for their new home-away-from-home, prospect to reduce their moratorium, or chance to lead as an experienced GP/ED in a busy and diverse setting, don't miss your chance to work on the beautiful Kangaroo Island.
