The Senior Test Analyst will work as part of small team under limited direction, defining, developing, applying, and assessing tests to analyse new and existing applications and systems.
They require extensive analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box.
For this role, it is essential that you to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders while developing and maintaining a view of the enterprise's testing services:

Essential
Australian Citizenship, minimum Baseline Clearance.
Conduct and lead the planning of test artefacts using appropriate tools, not limited to Test Estimation, Test Schedule, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Execution Reports, Defect Reports, and Test Summary Reports
Willingness to participate in testing activities, such as scripting, execution, reviews, defect, matrix, etc
Demonstrate extensive analytical skills.




This includes reviewing project documents with a demonstrated ability to analyse highly-complex systems and interdependencies, identify critical integration points, and identify inconsistencies and contraditions, ambiguity, and gaps in functional documents.
Provide clear and concise review comments on test artefacts, ensuring that comments are accurate and meet the section's standards.
Create, execute, and report high-quality test artefacts such as a project's test matrix, as well as its test cases, defects, and complex test data, ensuring they adhere to section standards and guidelines.
Raise defects and monitor defect queues for yourself and peers, advising when queues are not actioned promptly, as per section guidelines.
Coach, mentor, and provide on-the-job training to Junior, Trainee, and Test Analyst staff.
Assist in identifying knowledge and skills gaps in individuals, then help develop and implement plans to remedy them.
Provide recommendations for financial planning and budgeting within the project.
Using sound judgement, collate and provide an analysis of financial data and reports to facilitate decision making.
Tailor your communication (both written and verbal) to meet the needs of particular audiences.
Demonstrate ethical behaviour and integrity.
Contribute to the enhancement of team culture and a positive workplace.




Actively participate in or facilittae meetings for internal testing operations and external workshops.
Adapt easily to changes, demonstrating the application of sound judgement.
Initiate, build and maintain stakeholder relationships across the ICT division, with the business, and with operational areas, both internally and externally.
Establish and maintain professional networks to support portfolio and project outcomes.
Desirable skill set
Microsoft D365 testing experience
(highly considered)

Azure DevOps experience including Test Plan module
(highly considered)

AI MS CoPilot and Large language Model (LLM) experience
(highly considered)
.
Functional and Integration API testing
Microsoft Fabric experience
International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) foundation level qualification or equivalent
