ASX Listed Fintech - Contract Role The Opportunity We are partnering with a high-growth, ASX-listed fintech business to recruit an experienced Group Accounting Manager for an initial 3–6 month contract.
This is a senior, hands-on role within the Financial Control team, taking ownership of key group accounting activities and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting.
You will also lead a small team and work closely with senior finance stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the month-end close process Take ownership of group accounting and financial control activities Review monthly results and provide meaningful commentary to senior finance leadership Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial information Support half-year and year-end statutory reporting Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS Liaise with internal and external auditors Maintain and strengthen the internal control workplace Partner with FP A on budgeting and forecasting Oversee key finance operations, including AP,



AR and payment processes Lead, develop and mentor a small accounting team Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and greater efficiency Support ad hoc commercial, accounting and finance projects About You You will be a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with strong technical accounting and financial control experience.
You will ideally have: Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards / IFRS Demonstrated experience leading month-end and financial reporting Previous team management experience Strong Excel and ERP systems capability Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills Experience within financial services, fintech or another regulated environment would be highly regarded This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful ASX-listed fintech in a visible finance leadership role and make an immediate impact.
