About the role
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Assemble and wire complex control panels, machine assemblies, safety circuits, drives, sensors and industrial control systems for custom automation equipment.
Use of hand tools for wire crimping and cable assembly
Organise component layout for panel installation
Deliver tasks to the production schedule
Undertake fault finding to component level
Liaise with team leads / supervisors regarding job scheduling, product design, manufacturing procedures, job costing, and other similar tasks.
About you:
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience with cable assembly, control panel wiring, and electrical component installation.
Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good computer literacy and documentation skills.
Strong awareness of workplace safety and safe work practices.
Qualifications
Certificate III in Electrical Fitting or
Electrical diploma or equivalent- essential
EA103A- Operation (Electrical) legislative Requirements
WAE100 or EA106 Electrical Requirements
Electrical License- desirable
WA Driver's License
Desirable
Experience wiring PLC-controlled equipment and industrial control systems.
Experience with AC/DC wiring and drive wiring.
Previous experience in switchboard assembly, machinery manufacturing, or industrial automation.
Understanding of IPC-620 standards.
Forklift Licence.
Electrical Licence.
