Melbourne | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Hybrid Join a leading financial services organisation as a Compliance Consultant and play a key role in supporting consumer credit compliance across new products, business transformation and strategic initiatives.
Working closely with Product, Marketing, Technology and Credit Risk/Originations, you'll provide practical, commercially-minded compliance advice and help ensure regulatory requirements are embedded into business decision-making.
About the role You'll support a broad range of initiatives across the Pay business, including: New product and proposition development Regulatory and compliance advisory Business change and transformation Assessing regulatory obligations and impacts Incident, breach and reportable situations management Reviewing customer communications, disclosures and marketing materials Providing constructive challenge and guidance to senior stakeholders About you We're looking for a Compliance professional who brings: Strong consumer credit compliance experience 5+ years' experience across Compliance, Risk, Legal or a related advisory environment Strong understanding of consumer credit regulation, including the NCCP Act, ASIC Act and Corporations Act Direct experience supporting consumer credit products Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills The ability to provide practical, commercially focused and solution-oriented advice Confidence to constructively challenge stakeholders and influence decision-making Experience working across product, projects, transformation or business change Experience managing regulatory incidents,



breaches and reportable situations Highly regarded Experience within: Credit cards or payments Consumer lending Major banks or financial institutions Fintech Financial services consulting What will really make you stand out is deep consumer credit expertise, strong commercial judgement and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while influencing senior stakeholders.
