Job description General Practitioner (GP) Opportunities | Gympie Rockhampton, QueenslandFull-Time Part-Time GP Jobs | VR GPs Non-VR GPs (Level 3 Supervision or Above) We are currently recruiting General Practitioners on behalf of a well-established and expanding medical practice with clinic locations in the following Queensland locations: Rockhampton Yeppoon Emu Park Gympie Toowoomba Cairns Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available for Vocationally Registered (VR) General Practitioners and eligible Non-VR General Practitioners currently working under approved GP pathways.
Non-VR General Practitioners will be considered where they are currently assessed at Level 3 supervision or above and meet the applicable AHPRA registration, supervision, pathway, and location eligibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages Conduct consultations, history-taking, clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals Manage acute presentations and chronic health conditions in accordance with current clinical guidelines Provide preventative healthcare, health assessments, immunisations, and vaccinations Order and interpret pathology, imaging,



and diagnostic investigations Develop GP Management Plans and coordinate ongoing patient care Collaborate with specialists, allied health professionals, nursing teams, and other healthcare providers Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic medical records Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, clinical governance, and quality care Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives Participate in after-hours on-call arrangements where required under the clinic's rotating roster Candidate Requirements Suitable candidates will ideally: Hold current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner or meet the relevant registration eligibility requirements Be a VR GP holding FRACGP or FACRRM; or Be a Non-VR GP currently assessed at Level 3 supervision or above under an eligible Australian GP pathway FSP and PFP pathway doctors meeting the Level 3 supervision requirement are encouraged to apply Have previous General Practice experience in Australia or overseas Australian hospital experience will be highly regarded Be currently based in Australia (preferred) Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Possess excellent English communication and patient engagement skills Be confident building rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups Work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary healthcare teams Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuous professional development,
