As a CNC Application Engineer, you'll help produce CNC programmes for a variety of CNC machines in a small-batch, precision engineering environment, working to exacting standards of quality and customer care to support the delivery of Martin-Baker's life-saving products.

The Opportunity
As a CNC Applications Engineer, you'll support both established and new products by helping to shape modern, efficient manufacturing processes in a precision engineering environment.
You'll apply new technologies and continuous improvement techniques to optimise CNC programming, tooling, unmanned running, swarf management and inspection processes, ensuring manufacturing activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with business objectives.
This role is based onsite working from Denham.
What You'll Do
Support manufacturing activities on old and recent products
Support a strategy for Lean Design for Manufacture
Request new tooling should the need arise.
Support installations and commissioning of plant to ensure minimal business risk.




Provide advice and support on engineering/technical and other matters to ensure the sharing of knowledge and experience is continuous.
Follow best working practices for CNC programming, prove out, update and amendment of parts.
What We're Looking For
Basic CAD/CAM ability e.g. Modelling, Drafting and CNC Machining.
Proficient in NX CAD/CAM & Vericut Software would be desirable.
Highly developed communication skills: able to communicate verbally, in presentation format and in writing at senior level; able to develop links with other technical specialists within the business.
