Job Description
Role Overview
Based at our
Ormeau
site, we are seeking a reliable and motivated
Poly Components Labourer
to join our manufacturing team on a
casual
basis.
This hands-on role is responsible for installing and fitting components to Taylex products, ensuring quality standards are met and contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and practices to maintain a protected work environment
Clean and prepare manufacturing moulds
Measure, cut, and glue PVC and other components
Install and fit components to finished products
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
Follow quality control procedures and report any issues to supervisors
Complete general labouring and housekeeping duties
Follow instructions and production schedules to meet daily targets
Work collaboratively within a team environment
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A strong focus on workplace safety
1-2 years' experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to work in an outdoor environment
Valid working rights in Australia
