With a substantial portfolio of capital projects and ongoing investment in site infrastructure, they offer the opportunity to work on complex projects within a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Your new roleAs an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing electrical capital projects through the full project life cycle, from early studies and detailed design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
You will work closely with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.Key responsibilities include:Managing electrical projects from concept development through to completionCoordinating consultants during feasibility studies, engineering, and detailed design phasesManaging project budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting requirementsOverseeing contractors and ensuring compliance with contractual obligationsLeading project execution, construction activities, and commissioning worksReviewing and managing project documentation, technical deliverables, and governance requirementsCollaborating with operations, maintenance, engineering, and external stakeholdersEnsuring all work is delivered in line with safety, quality,
and regulatory requirementsDriving project performance and continuous improvement outcomesWhat you'll need to succeedDemonstrated experience managing electrical projects within mining, resources, heavy industry, energy, or infrastructure environmentsProven experience managing consultants through study, design, and project delivery phasesStrong understanding of project delivery methodologies and project governance requirementsExperience managing contractors during construction and commissioning activitiesSound knowledge of contract administration and contractor managementStrong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple project priorities in a dynamic operational environmentElectrical trade or engineering qualifications will be highly regarded.Commitment to maintaining the highest safety standardsWhat you get in returnThis is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded mining operation and contribute to the successful delivery of critical electrical infrastructure projects.
You'll work on a Monday-to-Thursday site roster with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays, while camp accommodation is provided throughout your assignment.
Both FIFO and DIDO options are available, offering flexibility for candidates across Queensland.
