About The Role
We have a great prospect for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with Surgical ward experience to join our dynamic and supportive team on a part time basis with a minimum 64 hours per fortnight.
We are looking for Clinical Nurse Specialists as well, so if you are a budding leader please apply.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
Ensure the complex and equipment are ready for surgery, patients and the team
Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
You will have:
Solid experience in Surgical ward nursing
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
Experience in the below specialties highly desirable
A desire to work with a a team of dedicated staff cultivating a positive work environment
