Your new company My client requires an experienced Mechanical Fitter.
You will be responsible for on-site maintenance, repairs and installation of lubricant storage transfer and dispensing equipment, as commonly used on fixed and mobile assets within a mining environment.
The role will be suited to someone who has experience working on fixed and mobile equipment.
A minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter is required for this position and experience within the mining industry is preferred for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain lubrication and grease systems to include rebuild and/or repair of lubrication pumpsMonitor operational plant performance to improve the reliability and life expectancy of plant equipment by utilising lubrication best practices.Perform planned and breakdown maintenance tasks on all fixed and mobile mining machineryFault-finding and repairing mechanical plant and equipmentEnsure all work is performed to trade standards and meets high standardsComplete necessary documentation, risk assessments, and work ordersCarry out first response breakdown maintenance tasksIntrastate Travel as requiredUnderstand and operate a range of test equipment for routine and non-routine lubrication functionsUtilising the test equipment, complete planned lubrication activitiesCollect lubrication samples,
