As the QA/QC Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring welding, structural remediation and protective coating works are completed to project specifications, industry standards and quality requirements,



safeguarding asset integrity and supporting continuous improvement across remediation projects.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:Develop and maintain Inspection and Test Plans for remediation activitiesConduct audits of quality systems, documentation and work practicesReview, approve and maintain weld, coating and NDT recordsManage non-conformances and corrective action outcomesABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Quality assurance and quality control within mining, industrial or heavy construction environmentsInterpreting engineering drawings, specifications and technical standardsLeading contractors and influencing quality performance across site teamsProducing detailed reports with exceptional attention to detail and accuracyQualifications for this position are:Trade qualification in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding)Mining Supervisor (G1, G8, G9) qualification, or ability to obtain prior to commencementWelding Supervision Qualifications AS **** welding in structural steel fabrication supporting compliance with AS/NZS **** standardsAS **** Certificate 10 welding on pressure equipment and other high-risk applications under AS/NZS ****CSWIP 3.1 / Welding Inspector Certification (or equivalent)NACE (AMPP) Level 1 or 2 Coatings Inspection Certification (or equivalent), or ability to obtain prior to commencementCurrent Open Drivers LicenceSouth32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
