Printatape continually evaluates recent flexographic methods and technologies to maintain a competitive edge for both the business and its customers.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Flexographic Printer role based in Silverwater, NSW.
The Flexographic Printer operates and maintains flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed packaging tapes and labels in line with production schedules and quality standards.
Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines, mixing and adjusting inks, mounting plates, performing test runs, and monitoring print quality throughout production.




The role also involves routine machine cleaning and maintenance, troubleshooting basic mechanical and print issues, and working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and minimize waste.
The Flexographic Printer is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain accurate production records, and contribute to continuous improvement in print processes.QualificationsPrint Production and Printing skills, including experience with flexographic press operation and setup.Printer Support skills, covering routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs of printing equipment.Bindery and finishing skills for handling, cutting, and preparing printed tapes and labels for dispatch.Inkjet and general ink handling skills, including ink mixing, color matching, and viscosity control.Previous experience in packaging or label printing environments is highly regarded.Ability to read job tickets, follow work instructions, and maintain quality and safety standards.Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to stand and work on machinery for extended periods.Reliable work ethic and capacity to collaborate effectively within a production team.
