One Tree Community Services is a national not for profit organisation providing children's services and community services in regional and remote towns that need it most.
About the position
As our Food Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting children's health and wellbeing by planning and preparing nutritious, balanced meals each day.
You will cater for a variety of dietary, cultural, and allergy requirements, ensuring all meals meet food safety standards and nutritional guidelines.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a close-knit, supportive team while making a meaningful difference in a remote community.
About the service
Join One Tree Millars Well Children's Service and you'll join a supportive and creative service that's inspired by child-led approaches.
Located next to the community garden, health clinic and primary school this service is well connected to the community.
As a result, you'll feel connected to the community too.

1 tablespoon of thrift to get the best food at the best prices.
2 cups of preparing food in accordance with food safety standards.

Selection Criteria
Experience in food preparation, ideally in a childcare or similar setting
Knowledge of nutrition and meal planning for young children
Understanding of food safety standards and safe food handling practices
Ability to cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work respectfully within a culturally diverse workplace
Passion for supporting children's health and wellbeing
Requirements
Eligible to work in Australia
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Current WA Working with Children Check
Satisfactory National Police Clearance
