With a strong focus on engagement, communication and community outcomes, the organisation is seeking a Communications and Engagement Support Officer to join a collaborative team responsible for delivering communication, engagement and community-focused initiatives for a 3-month period.Your new roleReporting into a busy communications and engagement team, you will provide a combination of communications, digital content and administrative support across a range of programs and projects.
This varied role will see you coordinating content, managing communication channels and supporting stakeholder engagement activities that contribute to positive community outcomes.
You will assist with social media management, content creation, graphic design, stakeholder communications, event coordination and the maintenance of digital assets.
The role will also involve records management, maintaining databases, coordinating resources and supporting the delivery of community engagement initiatives.
Working across multiple priorities, you will help ensure communications activities are delivered accurately, efficiently and on schedule.What you'll need to succeedExperience in a communications, marketing,



engagement or administrative support role ideally in a government environmentStrong written communication and content development skillsExperience managing social media platforms and digital contentProficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative CloudExperience creating graphics and visual communication materialsStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsExperience maintaining websites, intranet content or digital assetsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage competing priorities and work autonomouslyExperience supporting events, campaigns or community engagement activitiesRelevant qualifications in communications, marketing or a related discipline will be highly regardedNational Police Clearance or ability to obtain oneWhat you'll get in returnYou will join a supportive and team-oriented team environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful engagement activities while developing your communications and stakeholder engagement experience.
