Location: Mount Barker with some off-site work expected.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, confident and highly organised Clinical Coordinator / Senior Dental Assistant to join our team.
This is a hands-on, clinical and leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys supporting and mentoring others, and takes pride in ensuring the practice runs smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard.
The role has exciting potential for career progression within our group.
In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of our clinical team, rostering and management of staff hours, stock and supplies ordering, onboarding and training, infection control, equipment issues, general clinical organisation, and chair-side assisting.
You will be a key point of contact for the clinical support team, and will work closely with our Business Manager and Operations Manager to maintain a positive, skilled and well-organised clinical workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Coordination & Daily Operations
Undertake dental assisting duties as required.




Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice, including management of staff, surgeries and resource utilisation.
Coordinate and delegate duties across the clinical team including daily and weekly checklists.
Monitor and manage daily maintenance requirements.
Act as a positive and professional role model for the clinical team.

A Certificate III in Dental Assisting - highly regarded, but not essential.
Licence to Operate Radiation Apparatus - desirable, but not essential.
Previous experience in dental assisting, ideally in a senior or leadership capacity.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
Initiative, resilience and a willingness to take ownership.
Flexibility to work across multiple locations as required.
This role is mainly located at our Mount Barker clinic, however as we are part of a larger group of practices, the role may require meetings be carried out at our Kensington Park or Stepney practices.
