Play a key role in delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments for a leading Sydney property developer with a strong and growing pipeline.
Our client is a leading property development and construction group delivering high-quality high rise residential and mixed-use rent projects that contribute to vibrant urban communities.
With a strong and growing pipeline of large-scale projects across NSW, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Administrator to join their commercial team.
This is a senior role offering responsibility for the full commercial and contractual management of complex construction projects from procurement through to final account and will suit someone that is hands on.
Working closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership team, you will take ownership of subcontractor management, cost planning, contract administration and commercial reporting while mentoring junior team members and contributing to best-practice project delivery.
Having worked on new build Class 2 residential projects previously is ideal or having other commercial current build project experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Contract & Commercial Management
Managing end-to-end subcontractor procurement, tender assessments and contract negotiationsPreparing,



administering and managing subcontract agreementsManaging progress claims, variations, extensions of time and final accountsMaintaining accurate cost control, forecasting and financial reportingEnsuring contractual compliance and risk mitigation across all project stagesWorking closely with Project Managers to ensure commercial alignment with construction programsProviding guidance and mentorship to Assistant and Cadet Contracts AdministratorsCoordinating with site teams, consultants and external stakeholdersPreparing detailed commercial reports for senior management
Systems & Process Improvement
Contributing to continuous improvement of commercial systems and proceduresEnsuring accurate documentation, reporting and record keepingSupporting best-practice contract administration across the business
Qualifications and Requirements:
Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline5–15+ years' experience in a Contracts Administrator, Senior Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager roleStrong experience delivering large-scale residential and/or mixed-use projects, or new build commercial projectsExcellent commercial acumen and contract administration skillsStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilitiesHigh level of organisation, attention to detail and time managementProficiency in Microsoft Office and construction cost management systems
