Site Based Commercial ManagerThe OpportunitySpiecapag Australia is delivering some of the country's most complex pipeline and HDD infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial, contractual, and financial performance of our projects.This role is also well suited to a Senior Contract Administrator or Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a Commercial Manager position, with strong experience across cost control, contract administration, and major project delivery.About the RoleReporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of the full commercial function, ensuring projects are delivered profitably, compliantly, and with strong contractual control.You will partner closely with operations to drive outcomes across cost, time, risk, and change management while leading and developing the commercial team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all commercial, contractual and financial management of projectsAdminister head contract and subcontracts, ensuring all notices and entitlements are managed correctlyDrive cost control, forecasting, and margin performance (EAC, cost to complete, forecasts)Implement and manage change management processes, ensuring variations, delays and claims are captured and recoveredProvide strategic commercial advice to the Project Manager and senior leadershipLead risk and chance management, maintaining a live and actionable project registerManage procurement and supply chain,
