Start: ImmediateDuration: Contract to June 30th, ****Daily rate: $550–$650 + Super (based on experience)Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid Working)An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Project Coordinator to join a major NSW Government organisation and support the delivery of a high-profile cybersecurity uplift program.Working directly alongside the Program Director, you will act as their trusted right-hand person, providing program coordination, governance, PMO and stakeholder support across a complex portfolio of security and technology initiatives.
The program is focused on strengthening organisational capability through the uplift of systems, processes and tooling, including initiatives across risk, customer and governance functions.This is a highly visible role requiring someone who can operate confidently within a complex matrix environment, build strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups and proactively drive outcomes with minimal supervision.The OpportunityAs a key member of the program team, you will help ensure effective governance, reporting and delivery coordination across multiple concurrent workstreams.
You will work closely with senior leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams and security specialists to keep program activities organised, compliant and on track.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Program Director in the day-to-day delivery of a security uplift program and Governance, Risk and Compliance initiatives.Coordinating governance forums, steering committees and executive reporting activitiesPreparing board packs, status reports, presentations and meeting materialsMaintaining project plans, action registers, risks, issues,
dependencies and decision logsSupporting the deployment and adoption of enterprise tools across risk, customer and governance functionsManaging program documentation, filing structures and records management activitiesCoordinating workshops, meetings and stakeholder engagement activitiesSupporting governance, compliance and assurance requirements across the programMaintaining intranet content and internal communication updatesProviding PMO support to ensure delivery standards, reporting timelines and governance obligations are metAbout YouPrevious experience in a Project Coordinator, Program Coordinator, PMO Analyst or similar project support positionPrior experience supporting projects or programs within NSW State Government environments is essential.Exposure to PMO functions, project governance frameworks and program delivery controlsStrong experience preparing board papers, steering committee packs and executive reportingExcellent administrative, organisational and document management skillsDemonstrated experience supporting governance, compliance and reporting activities within large programsA self-motivated and highly organised approach to your workStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to support senior leadersExperience working within complex matrix environments, coordinating activities across multiple teams and workstreamsExperience supporting cybersecurity, technology, risk, governance or transformation initiatives will be highly regarded.What to do Next?
