Senior Regional Application Engineer-Power Generation
We are looking for a talented Senior Regional Application Engineer-Power Generation to join our team in Perth.
This dual customer/product focused position serves as the technical liaison between OEM's and represents our customers during recent product development programs in power generation.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
· Develop strong relationships with customer technical counterparts within power generation
· Apply technical expertise in the areas of product, application and market knowledge to support OEM product selection and equipment design
· Serve as customer/market advocate inside Cummins during participation in new product development programs, design reviews and product change request processes
· Ensure products are applied and installed correctly to meet customer system requirements and environments
· Work with the sales team to design and deliver engineering solutions for customer technical queries and RFTs Senior Regional Application Engineer
· Provide support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
· Tertiary qualification in Engineering – ideally a dual qualification in electrical and mechanical.
Tradies with dual qualification and relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experienceIdeally have had experience in power generation design engineering
· Have functional AutoCAD skills to lay out electrical schematics
· A demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making in a similar role – with a strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of power generation
· Proven business partnering skills with the ability to drive the best outcome, with a strong understanding of Australian electrical standards
· Effective communication skills and the ability to deliver technical information to the customer and deliver quality reports.
