Normet is looking to recruit a pro-active and personable Storeperson to join our friendly and supportive team in Midvale.
As Storeperson you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling tasks such as accurately receipting and dispatching spare parts and other materials.

What we offer
Permanent full-time position I Monday to Friday I 8:30am - 5pm
Between $40 - $41 per hour (flat rate) plus super

To shine in this position, you will need
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with key internal and external clients
3 years' experience in Storeperson, Warehouse or Logistics role
Experience performing receipting, dispatching, and warehouse maintenance administration using an ERP system (MS Dynamics D365 is highly regarded)
Ability to process purchase and sales orders efficiently
Current forklift license is essential to be considered for this position
Current drivers license
Attention to detail with the ability to juggle competing priorities
A positive 'can do' attitude, be self-driven and results orientated
Be a good team player with the willingness to help and support team mates
The ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
Essential to be available for Call Back Roster
Logistics and/or Warehousing is desirable but not essential
Full working rights in Australia is essential in order to be considered for this position.




The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and dispatch all orders accurately and securely
Perform receipting, dispatching, and warehouse maintenance administration using our ERP system
Ensure correct Serial & Batch numbers are recorded in the ERP system when receipting into stock
Ensure all sales and transfer orders are picked within the required timeframe
Ensure inventory is presented appropriately, with stock items in good condition and contamination and corrosion free
Conduct a cyclical stock take once a week
Notify management of any stock discrepancies or urgent issues
Respond to spare parts and sales enquiries from clients when on the 'on Call Roster'.
