Carpenter – Maintenance Division | Pathway to Supervisor/Leading Hand
We're looking for a skilled carpenter to join our Maintenance division.
This is a hands-on role with genuine long-term progression — over time you'll be shadowed and mentored by our management team, with a real chance to step off the tools in the years ahead and move into a Supervisor or Leading Hand role.
About the Role
This is a hands-on carpentry role with a clear pathway forward.
You'll be on the tools day-to-day, but from day one you'll be exposed to how jobs are run, managed and delivered — so when the opportunity comes, you're ready to step up.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out high-quality carpentry work across a range of maintenance jobs
Working across multiple client sites on a daily basis
Being closely shadowed and mentored by our Managers
Learning how jobs are scoped, scheduled and supervised
Reading plans and understanding what needs to be built
Keeping sites tidy,



safe and running smoothly
Liaising with other trades on site as required
Flagging issues early and helping problem-solve
Gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills and confidence grow
What We're Looking For
A qualified, all-round carpenter with solid on-the-tools experience
Eager to skill up over time into a Supervisor or Leading Hand position
Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
Good communicator who works well with clients and other trades
Keen to learn the management side of the business
