We do workshop fabrication, in town jobs, and site work; including ongoing mine site work.
We're growing, and we need someone who can run a job without being told twice.The RoleWe're after a Leading Hand Boilermaker who can take a job and run with it - reading drawings, planning the work, keeping the crew on track and getting it done right without a director standing over your shoulder.
You'll be leading a small crew and reporting straight to the Director.This isn't a "wait to be told what to do" role.
We need someone who sees what needs doing and does it.What You'll Be DoingRunning jobs independently across workshop, in town and site workLeading and mentoring a small crew of boilermakersReading and working from technical drawingsPlanning job sequencing,
materials and timelinesMaintaining quality and safety standards on site and in the workshopLiaising with the Director and clients on job progressPotential for site/FIFO work as our mine site work growsWhat We're Looking ForTrade qualified Boilermaker with runs on the boardProven experience leading or supervising a small crewConfident reading drawings and planning work independentlyStrong safety mindsetReliable, self directed, takes ownership of the jobSite/FIFO experience or willingness to travel for site work highly regardedRelevant tickets (or willingness to obtain them) - rope access is a plusExperience with boring, CNC plasma or MEM work highly regardedWhat We OfferCompetitive pay, reflecting the leading hand responsibilityA genuine leadership role in a growing business, not just a bigger pay packet for the same jobVariety - workshop, in town, and site/mine workDirect line to the Director - no layers of management between you and decisions getting made
