THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and confident HR Lead to step into a key role supporting our leaders and team.
Acting as a HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic guidance and hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle.
This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-moving, project-driven environment while building trusted relationships with leaders and leading the HR team.
What you will do:
Partner with leaders on workforce planning, employee engagement, performance and change management.
Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, NES and internal policies.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including senior appointments.
Drive retention strategies and support talent development programs.




Maintain and improve HR systems, processes, and policies in line with best practice.
Provide practical coaching and advice to managers on performance management.
Act as a key contact for legal counsel on employment matters and support investigations and compliance activities.
Lead and mentor the HR team, building capability across the function.
Other duties as requested by the Business Support Manager.
THE PERSON
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources with proven experience within a project, engineering or similar workplace.
Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES, and Industry Awards.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities with professionalism and confidentiality.
Pragmatic, resilient, and able to balance compliance with commercial outcomes.
