Your new company A small Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced API Developer to join its Technology Services Division as the agency brings critical system integration capability in-house.You will play a key role in designing, building and supporting secure, scalable APIs that enable the exchange of health information across Australia's digital healthcare ecosystem.Your new role: Working within a complex integration environment, you will develop modern RESTful APIs, contribute to cloud-native delivery practices, and help improve interoperability between clinical and administrative systems.What you'll be doingDesigning and developing secure Java-based REST APIsDelivering APIs aligned to HL7 FHIR healthcare standardsBuilding solutions with a focus on privacy, security and auditabilityImplementing OAuth authentication and authorisation controlsSupporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesWorking across containerised environments including Docker and KubernetesCollaborating with technical teams,
