We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team at one of Melbourne's premier mixed‐use precincts.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to the client while leading a dedicated finance team of 2.
You will be managing the delivery of management and financial reports of two commercial sites of over 80,000 square metres.
This role will be based on‐site in Melbourne CBD.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with comprehensive variance analysis and commentaryLead annual budget preparation and conduct 10-year reforecasts to optimize financial planning across the assets.Review and approve journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and end‐of‐month checklists ensuring accuracy and complianceManage tenant recovery processes including outgoings and promotion fund budgets, plus calculate percentage rent for applicable tenantsExecute month‐end and year‐end closing procedures while processing rent smoothing journals for IFRS complianceMaintain tight control over precinct operating costs and communicate financial performance to management stakeholdersProcess owner remittances according to agreed schedules and coordinate with external auditors for compliance requirementsReview debtors and book bad debt provisions as necessary to ensure accurate financial reportingLead, coach and develop a finance team of 2 by setting measurable performance goals and driving cooperative excellenceManage relationships with Building Management Team, clients,
