The OpportunityWe're looking for an AI Architect to help enterprise clients responsibly design, deploy, and scale generative AI and agentic capabilities across Adobe Experience Cloud.
This is a client-facing, technical advisory role - not hands-on model training or research - for someone who can blend deep architecture expertise with business acumen and executive presence.You'll partner with Adobe consultants and client stakeholders to assess AI/LLM readiness, define governance and roadmaps, and guide the architecture behind RAG systems, AI agents, and LLM-powered features - all while building trusted advisor relationships that extend beyond a single project.What you'll do:Enterprise & AI ArchitectureServe as lead technical point of contact across multiple concurrent customer engagementsDesign enterprise architectures and roadmaps incorporating RAG, AI agents, and automated workflowsAssess clients' current architecture and AI/LLM readiness, and identify gaps to their target stateAlign business strategy, IT roadmaps, and delivery teams building AI-powered featuresAI Governance, Risk & QualityDefine governance models covering data privacy, consent, access controls, and responsible-AI guardrailsAdvise on evaluation frameworks for AI output quality, accuracy, cost, and latencyAdvise on AI security architecture, including prompt-injection defensesDocument reference architectures for RAG, agent orchestration, and LLM integration patternsAdvisory, Enablement & CommunicationEngage marketers, analysts, developers, data scientists, and C-level execs via workshops and deliverablesProvide enablement and coaching on product features and AI optimizationTranslate LLM architecture concepts into clear technical writing and executive presentationsManage expectations, scope, and timelines across engagementsWhat you bring:10+ years in a client-facing role with a track record building enterprise architecture modelsAbility to translate business vision into technical architecture,
including where GenAI drives real valueStrong communication skills across technical and executive audiencesExperience with architecture frameworks (API-first, SOA, TOGAF)Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, and Experience CloudWorking knowledge of RAG, AI agents, and prompt engineering for accuracy, cost, and latencyFamiliarity with an LLM orchestration framework (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector)Strong Python literacy and API design/integration fluency across LLM and cloud-native servicesExperience with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall delivery methodologiesWorking knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, XML, Java, REST, and services-based architectureUnderstanding of Azure and/or AWS, including native LLM offerings (Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock)Bachelor's or master's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experienceNice to Have:Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)Hands-on experience building/reviewing AI agents, or LLM evaluation & observability tools (e.g., LangSmith, Datadog)Deep vertical industry experience (Retail, Media, Financial Services, High Tech)Relevant Adobe certifications (AEM, Adobe Analytics, Experience Platform Architect)Familiarity with consent/privacy platforms and regulations (GDPR, CCPA)About AdobeAdobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences.
