Role & Responsibilities:
* Offer friendly assistance to participants as they board, travel on, and exit the mini-bus
* Help create a warm, social atmosphere during travel; chat with participants and support those who may feel unsure or anxious
* Provide general support at excursion venues, including guiding participants, helping them settle in, and assisting with group flow
* Act as a natural set of hands for the driver, including monitoring participant comfort and helping manage transition
* Follow instructions provided during orientation regarding emergency procedures and risk management
* Build rapport with participants to enhance their enjoyment and sense of belonging
* Be dependable, reliable and punctual
* Treat all people with respect, care and dignity as per Aged Care standards
* Accept appropriate direction, supervision and feedback
* Report all incidents and injuries immediately to the Coordinator and/or the Volunteer Coordinator
