Candidates must be an Australian
citizen with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
As the EL1 Cyber Project Manager,
you will plan, coordinate and deliver discrete cyber security
projects within agreed scope, timeline and budget parameters,
managing project teams and reporting on progress to achieve defined
deliverables in accordance with relevant legislation and Commission
policies and procedures.
You will exercise both initiative and judgement in the
interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.
As part of a team, you will provide disciplined
delivery of specific cyber security initiatives within the broader program and
ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to scope.
You
will apply your highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement
skills to manage day-to-day project execution including team coordination and
issue resolution, and to translate strategic program objectives into actionable
project plans.
You will be a highly capable person who enjoys
sharing knowledge, working to timeframes and is outcomes focused.
Key duties and responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project
plans and manage delivery against scope, time, cost and quality
parameters
Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional project
teams, ensuring role clarity and performance
Project Reporting:
Provide timely, accurate reporting on project status,
risks, issues and budget to the Program Manager and steering
committees
Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess and
manage project-level risks and issues, escalating to program level
as required




Stakeholder Engagement: Manage project-level stakeholder
expectations, communications and change management
activities
Resolve complex issues and/or requests or escalate
as required and recommend alternative approaches and
solutions.
Manage own workload and priorities in
specified timeframes and provide support and guidance to
other team members.
Perform other projects and tasks as required.

innovative ideas, build trust, provide support, and foster a positive and
supportive team culture.
