A successful applicant will have the following:A tertiary qualification (Bachelor or Masters)
in Occupational TherapyCurrent AHPRA certification or ability to attainFull working rights within AustraliaA valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in-home visitsCurrent National Police ClearanceCurrent Working with Children Checks
Your role as a Balance to Bloom Occupational Therapist:Plan and deliver child and family focussed interventions utilising a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed lensProvide occupational therapy assessment and ongoing services to children aged 2-18Coach and assist family networks and support people to understand the child's needs and implement strategiesFoster best practice paediatric occupational therapy, ensuring that the standard of care is maintained at the highest possible levelPlan for and complete continued professional developmentMaintain accurate client recordsPlan and liaise with practice colleagues to effectively manage clients within agreed diary structure, and effectively to ensure that caseloads are metActively participate in supervision
