The successful applicant will assist with vehicle body repairs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Duties may include:
Assessing vehicle body damage and assisting with repair planning where required.
Removing, repairing, replacing, and fitting damaged panels and vehicle body components.
Straightening damaged panels, frames, and body sections using appropriate tools and equipment.
Filling, grinding, sanding, and preparing repaired surfaces for painting.
Using welding, cutting, hydraulic, pneumatic, and hand tools in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
Refitting body hardware, trims, lights, and related components following repairs.
Maintaining tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean and secure condition.
Following workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
Working cooperatively with estimators, painters, apprentices, suppliers, insurers, and other team members.
