About the role
This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety in a busy landscape supply yard.
You will serve and assist customers, operate the point of sale system, load vehicles safely, maintain the yard, and perform general manual labour and yard maintenance.
Key responsibilities
Serving and assisting customers with product enquiries
Operating the point of sale (POS) system and answering phone enquiries
Loading customer vehicles safely and efficiently
Maintaining a clean, organised, and secure yard
Keeping the shop floor neat, tidy, and well presented
Selling in-store products, including imported merchandise and outdoor furniture
General yard maintenance and manual labour
About you
Hardworking, reliable, and honest
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing excellent customer service
A proactive problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Punctual and dependable
Willing to undertake a drug and alcohol screening and police check if required
HR, MR or LR driver's licence (desirable)
Forklift ticket (desirable)
Front-end loader experience or willingness to learn (desirable)
