As our company continues to grow nationally, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our team.
The Opportunity
Based in
Townsville
, this exciting role is responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with clients across the
mining, quarrying, agriculture, ports and industrial sectors
.
Regular travel throughout Queensland and interstate will be required to visit customer sites, attend industry events and develop current business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across the mining, quarrying, agriculture, ports and industrial sectors.
· Identify and secure new business opportunities for manufacturing, conveyor systems, shutdown services, maintenance and capital projects.
· Promote REELS' complete range of engineering, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and materials handling solutions.
· Work closely with our engineering, estimating and operations teams to develop practical, customised solutions that meet customer requirements.
· Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations for clients.
· Conduct regular customer visits, attend mine and quarry sites, agricultural operations, industry conferences, networking events and trade exhibitions.
· Achieve agreed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
· Proven experience in business development or technical sales within the mining, quarrying, agriculture, manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors.
· A sound understanding of conveyor systems,



materials handling equipment or industrial manufacturing (highly regarded).
· Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
· A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
· The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
· A current Australian Driver Licence.
· The ability and willingness to travel throughout Australia as required.
