The Prospect
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Officer for our Gumleigh Gardens Hostel in our Riverina Murray Region.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality maintenance service which will include identifying and carrying out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the facilities buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with the day to day and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure that the physical environment for residents is neat, comfortable, safe and hazard free.
In fulfilling the role, it is essential that you have:
LR Drivers Licence (or working towards)
A positive `can do' attitude
Professional, enthusiastic and friendly manner
Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task
The ability to work autonomously as well function as a member of a broader team, and have a strong customer service focus
You will need to be a self-starter with excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise tight work schedules
Experience as a general maintenance officer
Be passionate about providing quality care to our residents
Able to turn your hand to any general maintenance request and fix the issue.
