Join Darling Downs Health as a Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, Physiotherapist or Social Worker (Clinical Intake Officer – Senior, Child Development) and help children aged 0-8 and their families access the right support at the right time across the Darling Downs region.
As a Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, Physiotherapist or Social Worker (Clinical Intake Officer – Senior, Child Development), you'll play an important role in helping children and families access the support they need to achieve their best outcomes.
Working with a skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll use your expertise to guide care pathways, strengthen service access and support families through key stages of their child's development.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Providing expert intake support that helps families connect with the right services and resources.
Applying advanced clinical judgement to identify needs, prioritise referrals and support timely access to care.
Working closely with health professionals and community partners to deliver coordinated, family-centred outcomes.
Supporting service improvements that enhance quality, accessibility and the experience of children and families.

Here's what will help you succeed in this role:
Relevant qualification and current professional registration, certification or membership for your discipline.
Experience working with children with developmental needs and their families.
Strong communication, consultation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary, family-centred team environment.
You'll stand out if you have experience in intake, triage, care coordination and/or quality improvement within child development, disability or community health services.
Above all, you'll bring Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage, helping deliver the right support at the right time for children and families across the Darling Downs.
