About the RoleWe are seeking a Traffic Operations Coordinator to join our growing traffic management team in Melbourne.
This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating people, plant, and resources across multiple worksites to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of traffic management services.You'll work closely with clients, supervisors, and field crews, playing a vital role in keeping projects running smoothly across construction, civil, infrastructure, utilities, and event works.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily and forward scheduling of traffic controllers, supervisors, and equipmentEnsure TrafficGuidance Schemes (TGS) and MOA's are implemented in line with permits and Victorian standardsLiaise with clients, councils, and contractors regarding traffic management requirementsMonitor live operations and respond to changes, incidents, or urgent requestsEnsure compliance with WHS legislation, AS ****, Austroads, and DoT Victoria requirementsMaintain accurate scheduling, compliance, and operational recordsSupport field teams with operational guidance and problem resolutionAbout YouYou're highly organised, calm under pressure, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You communicate clearly, take ownership of outcomes,
