Coordinating labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and other project resources
Working closely with Supervisors and field teams to support efficient project delivery
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and proactively managing expectations
Monitoring project performance against budget, programme and contractual requirements
Compiling monthly project performance reports for review with the Operations Manager
Preparing and maintaining project information within Simpro, including forecasts, purchase orders, variations and other project records
Completing regular project forecasting, including labour, materials, subcontractors,

Reviewing project costs and financial performance with the Project Accountant
Preparing progress claims and ensuring supporting documentation is accurate and submitted on time
Identifying, documenting, pricing and managing project variations
Managing procurement and ensuring materials and equipment are available when required
Identifying project risks early and developing practical solutions before they impact delivery
Managing subcontractor performance and compliance
Supporting project-specific WHSEQ planning, SWMS, ITPs, inspections and quality requirements
Managing defects, NCRs and project close-out requirements
Participating in client meetings, internal operations meetings and project reviews
Contributing to tenders, project methodologies, programmes and lessons learned.
About You
We are looking for someone who combines strong civil construction knowledge with sound commercial judgement and a practical approach to project delivery.
You will ideally bring:
Demonstrated experience managing civil construction or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of project programming, resource planning and construction methodology
Sound commercial awareness, including budgets, forecasting, claims and variation management
Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, plant and field resources
Strong client management and communication skills
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving project risks

A strong understanding of WHSEQ requirements within a construction workplace
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confidence working with project management and financial systems
Experience using Simpro or a similar project management/ERP system would be highly regarded
A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build effective relationships with both field and office-based teams.
Most importantly, we are looking for a Project Manager who takes ownership.
Someone who stays across their projects, communicates early when issues arise and works collaboratively with the broader team to get the right outcome.
Why Join Archos Group?
At Archos, you won't be another Project Manager buried within layers of management.
We are an established and growing business where our Project Managers work directly with operational leaders and have the opportunity to influence how projects are delivered.
You can expect:
Genuine project ownership – manage projects from mobilisation through to completion
Direct access to decision makers
– work closely with the people responsible for running the business
