A Northern TAS hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Internal Medicine from 02/11/2026 to 31/01/2027.

KEY INFORMATION

• FULL DATE availability required. Please, no presentations with days off. Must be available for the full Christmas/New Year period.

• There is expected After Hours and Weekend components (including Nights cover), shared between trainees/non-locums/locums irrespective of different rotations/shift combinations.

• Outreach/Nights rotation is a "priority rotation" and standard full-term rotation allocated to all types of registrars (trainees/non-locums/locums). Outreach involves medical admissions and care of admitted patients in the emergency department and involves Night shift components. Locums MUST be advised there are night shift expectations with all placements.

• On Call shifts (including On Call Nights), are not shifts to be worked by default, but only to work if activated for sick leave specifically
