Afrimat Industries (Pty) Ltd, Lichtenburg has a vacancy for a: People Manager

/n

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

/n

/n

- Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, or a related field (Honours degree advantageous).

/n

- Minimum 8–10 years' generalist Human Resources experience, including a proven track record in an HR management role.

/n

- Experience within a mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial setting will be advantageous.

/n

- Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA, Skills Development Act) and CCMA processes.

/n

- Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and organisational development.

/n

- Strong knowledge of payroll, HR administration, and HR information systems.

/n

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

/n

- Must be dedicated, ethical, professional, and results-driven.

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

/n

/n





- Lead and manage all Human Resources functions at the Lichtenburg Cement Factory.

/n

- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned to business objectives.

/n

- Manage the full recruitment, selection, and onboarding process.

/n

- Drive employee relations, including discipline, grievance handling, and CCMA representation.

/n

- Oversee performance management, training, and development initiatives.

/n

- Manage payroll input, HR administration, and accurate record-keeping.

/n

- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, employment equity, and company requirements.

/n

- Drive employment equity, skills development, and transformation initiatives.

/n

- Partner with line management to support operational and people objectives.

/n

- Develop, coach, and mentor the HR team.

/n/n
