Job Description
We are currently seeking a Centre Cook to join our Kindalin family.
/n
In this role, you'll prepare fresh, nutritious meals that nourish our children and support their growth and wellbeing each day, while confidently managing the kitchen Monday to Friday.
/n

Position requirements:
/n
/n
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.
/n
- Ability to confidently follow recipes, portion guides and menu plans
/n
- Strong understanding of children's dietary requirements, allergies and food intolerances
/n
- Ability to maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked kitchen environment
/n
- Strong time management skills to ensure meals and snacks are prepared and served on time
/n
- Confidence working independently while also being part of a supportive Centre team
/n
- A warm, positive and friendly approach when interacting with children, educators and families
/n
- Ability to communicate clearly with Centre teams regarding menus, allergies, stock and daily food preparation
/n
- Willingness to support light kitchen duties, including cleaning, ordering, stock rotation and maintaining food safety records
/n
- An understanding of the importance of providing nutritious meals that support children's health, wellbeing and development
/n
- Food Handlers/Food Safety Certificate required
/n
- Applicants must hold a valid Working with Children Check and Police Check, or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement
/n
- Permanent residency in Australia
/n
- Must have completed GEKKO Certification
/n
- Applicants must be happy, flexible and willing to travel across our Hills District Centres as required
/n/n
