About the role

The Exercise Physiologist Senior will deliver high level professional exercise physiology services as a member of the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service (MHAIS) multi-disciplinary team.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

- Well-developed clinical knowledge and expertise in the planning, prescription, implementation and evaluation of exercise physiology practice for people with complex mental health presentations within a multi-disciplinary service.
- High level organisational, communication,



problem-solving and interpersonal skills and the ability to apply these to contribute to innovation and change within mental health services regarding exercise physiology service delivery and improvement opportunities.
- Ability to lead and co-ordinate the exercise physiology student placement program inclusive of providing student practice supervision, mentoring and support and fostering and maintaining partnerships with the relevant tertiary institutions.

Mandatory Requirements

- The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in exercise physiology and be an accredited member of Exercise and Sports science Australia (ESSA). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment as required by
