GP Position | 2-5 days per week | PORT MELBOURNE, VIC

This is an exciting opportunity for a GP to join a well-established, fully private billing, female doctor owned and present clinic just 3km from Melbourne CBD, replacing a popular female GP with full books. Opportunities for corporate work, teaching exemptions & special interests available.

Shared care credentials will be valued.

/n

Consult in our up-to-date practice (FT or PT) with the ability to choose your own hours. The clinic continues to grow, and is very soon moving into a brand-new state of the art, light filled, purpose built medical centre, just across the road from our current location.

We remain near the beach, cafes & shops. This will include a car park for doctors.

Technology is continually updated,



with dual screens in all rooms, fibre to the premise & remote access, & other technology options such as AI transcribing.

/n

Port Melbourne Medical (PMM) is owned by Dr Sarah Lewis, who is on site most days. Sarah also sits on the AGPA board & is a strong advocate for general practice, especially support and mentorship for new fellows.

/n

There is excellent nursing support available, with well trained nurses available for vaccines, wounds, CDM, phone calls and a robust recall system, as well as a well-trained admin team to reduce your admin loads. You'll be freed up to do the work you want to do.

At PMM, the doctors are consulted regarding decisions that affect them. We have a robust focus on culture, education & teamwork & frequently seek 2nd opinions in-house and have case discussions. We maintain a strong network of friendly specialists, including having them visit for in-house education sessions.

All GPs consulting from PMM practice medicine to a high and ethical standard. GPs are all happy to provide a 2nd opinion, and will frequently ask for opinions amongst the group. GP work doesn't have to be lonely!
